Symbolizing French pride, Paraboot originated from a village at the foot of the Alps in the late 19th century. It was personally developed and designed by the brand's founder, Rémy-Alexis Richard. Paraboot not only insists on traditional shoemaking craftsmanship but is also the world's first shoe manufacturer to produce both shoes and rubber soles.

AVORIAZ F
Inspired by the French alpine resort town of Avoriaz, Paraboot introduced its first mountain boots specifically designed for snowy conditions in the 1930s.
Made from oil-waxed leather, the Avoriaz model features a triple-layered tongue and Norwegian welt construction. The rubber sole offers excellent grip for secure footing on rough terrain. As Paraboot expanded into hiking gear, the boots grew popular among renowned mountaineers, earning recognition as pioneers of modern ski and hiking boots.
Preserves the classic 1990s design while updating the silhouette with a more refined shape, the Avoriaz seamlessly combines its mountain heritage with urban style.
